You might try one of the major auctions. Before commiting to a purchase you should educate yourself as to what adds value and retains value in these cars. Also what to look for in terms of condition when buying. You might even want to consider having a professional inspect the vehicle and provide you with a written report and appraisal. Just do a Google search for auto appraisal and find one that specializes in vintage and classic cars.
are you looking for "sting ray" or "stingray". there is a couple years difference in the choice. "sting ray" being before 68, "stingray" being after... just to clarify.

Where 'overseas' are you? If you're in Europe there are NCRS Chapters in England and the Netherlands. They would certainly be worth contacting to learn more about "Stingrays?
