replace door lock actuator
Does anyone have instructions for replacing the passenger side door lock actuator on a 1978 25th anniversary pace car? Mine works only sometimes, most of the time my daughter needs to climb in from the driver's side! My mechanic is closing his shop and I'd like to do it myself but don't want to mess up the alignment of the doors in the process.

I replaced mine on my 78. Shouldnt mess with the door alignment at all. Pull the door panel and unhook the wires from the actuator. Then drill the old rivets out and unhook the arm. Aftermarket actuators come with screws instead of the rivets. Your choice on how you want to mount it back.
