I STILL GOT A FEW FINE DETAILS TO FINISH BUT AFTER GETTING THE HARDWARE IT WAS A PRETTY EASY CHANGE. CANT WAIT TO TAKE A SPIN. I HOPE IT MAKES IT FASTER
It seems like a nice addition.
About what did it cost to come up with the glass and frame, plus the hardware?
It looks like you were able to use the 2 upper interior trim pieces. How difficult was it to cut the openings for the 2 locks?
Good Work!!!
Regards,
Alan
The panels have mold marks where they need to be cut. I found hardware from a guy parting out a 71. Everything went in place like it was meant to be there. Very easy mod. I made a frame for my exhisting glass out of 1/4 inch aluminum channel that i got from home depot. I angle notched where all the bends needed to be placed and it formed around the window beautifully. After some 3m urathane and polishing it looks perfect.
