Front Caliper Torque Spec
Can someone give me the front caliper torque spec. This is for the bolts holding the two halves together, not the one to the bracket.
I tried the search, but apparently no one has ever posted those words before

Hi CA,
It took a bit to find but the GM Chassis Service Manual states... 130 ft/lbs for the caliper housing bolts.
Regards,
Alan
PS: My guess would have been ... so tight that you can only get them apart with an impact wrench.

Thanks Alan. Exactly what I needed.
These were new calipers with a leaky o-ring. First time I've ever been able to get them apart without an impact wrench.
