Well, got a few more things done.







I do have 1 question, this is the steering wheel that came on my 77 when I bought. I don't think it is the right one.


Can someone tell me what year this is from ??????

That looks like the stock wheel used from '69 - '75 - I'm not sure what they used in '77... Is that when they went to the smaller, more padded wheels?

i cant see photos here at work but i believe they used the same wheel in the corvette as they used in camaro
and vega up to 77.

I googled it and this is what I found.

1977 was the first year for the new leather wrapped steering wheel when tilt/telescopic was ordered



I also found this link to Zip Corvette, they have a list of Sterring wheels.

1976 Was the year of the "Vega" steering wheel. Ask me how I know...

Yes & 77- about 14" diameter.

Good but they forgot the slots. Several years ago, I installed a shallower dish Grant w/ polished slotted spokes & black leather.

Yes.

76 had the 4 spoke "sport" wheel which was used on other cars like the Camaro.
