Nothing new about it. I commented a couple years ago that sometimes it seems like reading the General section felt like I was dodging commercials and I got my head ripped off because of the whole "supporting vendor" thing.
They're very easy to spot so it's just as easy to skip over them. Not to mention that you have a different opinion than someone that might be in the market for a forum special offer and he happens to be needing a suspension package or an interior, and will save quite a bit of money because he stumbled across the vendor advertisement thread.

True enough about stumbling across a good sale, I just thought they were for the sticky section. Seemed funny there were at least five on one page. Skipping along now....
Hello All,
I asked about this a few days ago and got the explanation.
Some vendors do make real contributions beyond their advertisements. Wilcox is certainly one of those!

I think I am going to take advantage of wilcox carpet before the first sale. I wouldn't have known about it if I hadn't seen it on the forum. Just trying to get the courage to make the call LOL

Make the call friend, it's a great feeling getting it all installed and seeing perfect new carpet all around you. The feeling is different than anything else and it really will feel like a NEW car.
