Okay, so you do have a Photobucket account set up?

Simply copy the link under the thumbnail you want to post, make sure it's the link that has the [IMG] tags, and paste that link directly into one of these posts with nothing else added. Just the link and [IMG] tags.

You can type all around it but don't add to the link. It should look like this.

[IMG]XHGTVRlinkuiybfybry/atsoansodotcomdotjpeg[/IMG]

Then when you click submit, it'll show up as an image.

There is a 'test' section of this forum that you can use to play around with your links and such to make sure it works....

I've also gotten in the habit of spacing my link down below what I typed so there is nothing even close to it.If I dont sometimes the link is split and has other words in it.

See you added your own tags. When you copy the one from Photobucket in the [IMG] field, it has the tags built in. I simply deleted the tags you added and the extra http:// and it showed up just fine. Then the ones it came with code it as a link to an image.

Great looking pair there.

It's allot easier when forums let you up load from your hard drive.

That works fine for young and small forums, but this forum is huge with thousands of active members and many years of history stored up. If everyone could just upload images like to Photobucket they would run out of space fast and things would get VERY slow.

See if you look at the coding of your own post you have two sets of [IMG] tags on each end. You only need one set.

For instance.

Here is the link to the picture.

http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/l...nddad08-06.jpg

From Photobucket, you can get just the link, or one that already has [IMG] tags. If it already has them you won't need to add them.

That bare link above will show up with just a [IMG] in front of it and a [/IMG] behind it.
