There is a tool to do it properly but mine came off easily by hand. If memory serves me right, it's the small clasps underneath, if removed, that you have to be careful about because they have tiny screws.

M30 is right about the clips. However, the clips are only used on the top piece of trim... the long thin piece that is right at the glass.
The trim on the a-pillars is attached with screws that are under the weather strip.
You need to be very careful using the tool, or what ever you choose, on the top strip, because it's easy to chip the edge of the glass which can lead to a crack.
