The paint job looks great. Who did it, if you don't mind me asking?

Nice stuff! I especially like the side flames, I think they fit a C3 very well.

Now with this camoflage, you might not recognize when you have real flames out of your engine bay!

Nice work, just not my cup of tea.

I have to defend 1982CD because you didn´t specify that only those in favor where allowed to post any reply and I think he was honest and not rude to you and the painter who certainly did a great job.

I think when a member posts their car that they are very proud of
they are no asking for opinions. Clearly alot of money has been spent
and the last thing you need to hear is someone with a negative
opinion. How about just say nothing at all if you cant say anything
nice. Its not a car he is thinking about buying its his car and the
paint is really nice. Anyone can see that.

Never denied it wasn't a good job, It just wasn't my cup of tea. This is no different than the posts where people throw 20's on their car or do something non-stock. You have people that like it and people that dislike it.

Yeesh, just forget it........I'll jump on the bandwagon with everyone else.... like it

When it comes to "hot rodding" older cars there is always going to be a deference in opion, not only between the keep it original crowd and the hot rod it crowd, but then also the direction you take the hot rodding, whether you go the vintage theme, the pro touring theme or the custom paint, nice stereo and wheels theme, its up to the owner...if we all thought a like it would be pretty boring!
I think the paint job looks great, nice to see something different on a 78,not the normal stuff...so drive it, enjoy it, I guarantee at the shows/cruises you will get more thumbs up then downs!

I do a lot of "real fire" paint jobs, bikes, cars, vans, it has been the hottest thing in custom paint for the last 3 or 4 years....got quite a lot of flack from the purists when I put it on my 64 Rivi. Its my car, I like it, so who cares.

You dont have to jump on the bandwagon just make no comment at all if it is not what you would want to hear if you were the receipient.
