I did the trim and rocker panels in gloss black and clear coat. Git tired of the 1K paint fading every year. Also, tinted my tail lights and sidemarkers with candy black.
You were asking how to get the run out on the other forum. There is too much there to sand out with 1000+ grit.
Wait unitl it dries up good for a week or two. Take a new razor blade and scrape the length of each run. Hold the blade perpendicular to the surface not parallel. A scraping not cutting. Go slow and remove a little at a time. Once you get them leveled down a bit you could hit it with 400 then the 800. Then buff it.
Or you could get a run remover which basically does the same thing as the razor blade.
I've tried shooting HOK paint on mine twice and messed it up. Its very hard to shoot. You did a great job.
You post (new paint) and you only post one photo and it doesn't show
us much, You ought to be ashamed of your self. We would like to see more.
I do like the color.
