Fiber optic's harness
70 coupe and or a 70 convertible.
Looking at the picture with the left circle is where the harness from the headlights and blinkers splits.
The wires that are circled going thru the fire wall, is this the fiber optic wires from the front lights?
I tried to trace the wires out the best I could and think this could be them and just need to confirm.
If not, where do they enter the interior thru the fire wall.
Thanks.

Thank you for the information Dennis.
I was doing some work to my console on my convertible last night and the PO had installed a different radio and couldnt find the front fiber optic wires. He may of stuffed the wires up under the dash, but as long as I can see there running thru the fire wall I should be good, at least to that point.

Hi GP,
Your thinking and Dennis are right on.
It's on UPC 12, Sheet A6 in the AIM. They're called "lamp monitors". Pretty impressive for somthing you can't even see sometimes.
Regards,
Alan
PS: Nice photo. I like the white oil filter.
