Want to work under my 75 to clean and coat under carriage I know the more room the better but what is the best realistic height to be able to work on it. I have 2 sets of ramps that are 71/2 inches high and 20ft of4x4 that I can cut to size to raise it even more.
Hi B75,
I think the bottom of the frame needs to be at least 18" off the floor to work under it (24" is better). Having the wheels off really helps your ability to clean things under there, too.
You need to be careful working on the car on jack stands but I think it's the way to go. You just need to be careful. There's a thread about jack stands going on right now.

Alan
