I have a terrific article I scanned from one of the popular Vette magazines. PM your email address and I will send it to you.

I used these procedures on my 76 & 78. Worked great.

I just finished reolacing mounts and #1 and #4 brackets both sides. Brackets were a bear to grind out and reweld in place. If bolts come out easy on 2 and 3 job is a little easier. But if not a lot of hard work. Also cutout driver side # 3 bracket and rewelded in new bracket. You will need to cutout the splash shield for acess to the # 3 bolt and to set the new mounts.

Raised the passenger side about 3" after bolts removed. you will need glue mounts and spacers together to slide into place. you can do this from inside the frame. Driver side will lift about an 1 1/4". enough to side in mounts etc. Mt Bad 79 has some great pic's of his project. Also do a search on "body mounts" you will get a lot of info.

The project is not easy at best but can be done. just think it through.

good luck
