Check out a copy of a Factory Assembly Manual. You can get these from any one of the parts suppliers. I know in the 75 manual that I have it gives exact measurements as to where to install the L82 emblems on the hood.

I checked the aims last night from 68 -73 and none have the measurement. The rear panel already had the holes in it when it arrived to the assembly plant.
