Default found some heads in the barn,

I found a pair of BBC heads in a barn and I got the part # off of them it says High Perf cast into the top of the casting the part number is 3964927 can anyone identify them?

Check the numbers again.I'm not seeing that casting.

Clean casting # well and check again. Square port of oval port. Post casting date also. Should be this configuration. (example) E 7 70

The whole # is 72396492[7]or it might be a 1 -oval port-cast iron

Clean casting #, post date code!!!

3964291 is the closest I could find
3964291....69-72...rect..CLOSED..396, 402, 427, 454, 109cc chamber, Large or small hex spark plugs used, crate motor usage in years after 1970.

Look again at the last 4 numbers to make sure you're not transposing numbers. Believe you may find it's ...4291, which should make these the '69-'72 109cc closed chamber, rectangle port, hi-perf iron heads suspected. Depending on date code, could be off any number of original applications including 402 L78 or 454 LS6, off of a '70 or later crate engine, or replacements.

I got them on,and had a serious intake leak.did I mention....serious????I got frustratedmabd put the 750DP on a Torker,and getting ready to go back at it.Once I got going...wow..The aluminum heads,new cam,and 1.6s really brought the car to life.
I am trying to get some stuff out of the way here to get paint on it this spring.HOPEFULLY!!!!!!
