Default whats it worth

1977 coupe, in pretty good shape. Could use a paint job but I haven't checked it out real good yet. I will tomorrow. Suppose to have 59,000 miles, runs good. Heat/air works. Nice chrome wheels on it.

What do you think.

$6,500. Check the birdcage for rust.

Absolutely no idea!

You need to determine the price based on a load of information.

Prime concern is the condition of the birdcage and frame. If severe corrosion then the vehicle is worth the sum of its sellable parts.

A 10 out of 10 car, may be worth upwards of $20,000.

Somewhere in between these two levels is the value of this car.

If you are not able to personally appraise/establish a dollar value of this car, then find someone in your area that is able to. Even if you have to pay for this service , it would be money well spent.

Not to be ignorant or demeaning but the question is like me asking this forum, How much is my house worth? The answer to that is best provided by a local real estate professional.

Good luck with the purchase.

Thanks for the Info guys.

Dannyman, I understand what your saying. I do have a real good Vet guy about 50 miles from me that does most of my work now and I definately will have him check it out if I get ready to purchase. There asking $6000.00. Thought I might offer them some thing considerlby less and see what they have to say. Then if they accept take it to my friend and see what he says.
