I like em too!! I got mine from this guy on ebay. Came in Weds...it is everything the ad says it is. VERY well made. FAST delivery!!! Took me 5 minutes to install (if that long). Reputable seller....check out his ebay page. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1968-...8#ht_546wt_851
AND it will fit perfectly if you have a luggage rack.....because I do and it does!
I have that company's website on my favorites just waiting for my tax refund....and I know this is a cover but I don't feel like finding someone to fabricate the base to fit the vette...
Thanks Matt!
The center tail light is from a Honda del Sol. It's the only car I could find that have a light that would fit.
It's inserted into the upper bow. It looks factor. I'm very happy with it!
I cut out the bow, it's hollow in there and filed and sanded so the light in fit perfectly in there. It's a perfect match
Here's a closeup in primer;
not so close up

Post some more pics of the paint job. That looks very much like what I wanted for my 72.
Well If you insist!
Remember these were taken inside under flourescent lighting.
I can't wait to get it outside in the sun, but it was -4 this morning. Might be a while!
It's electron blue, beautiful color with a ton of pearl and metallic.
The stripe is completely buried, no ridge at all
Thanks Matt!

I'm going to copy that third light if you copy my vent lights. I'm curious how you made the screw holes inside the hoop like that to mount the light. What year Del Sol was it?
Sounds like a deal to me!
Now I have to decide, a light in each gill, or just one light, so many decisions...
I don't remember the delsol year, I think it was mid 90's or so.
Google says 1993-1997, they look like the right body style
I just used a blob of long strand fiberglass filler on each end, taped the light in place and screwed the vasoline covered screw into it. As soon as it started to harden, I pulled it apart.
The filler made a nice mounting pad to hold the light in place.
Use masking tape to keep the blob from sticking to the light.
I got it off of craigs list. the dealers think they are gold filled, like $350 IIRC!

Very clever. I'll have to dig up a light bar and save it for a rainy day.
I actually used two lights per vent. They are essentially trailer lights from Napa, about $5 each, with 2 bulbs per housing. They have they own diffuser lenses and I simply mounted them to the back of the inner wheel well facing the vent, wired them, installed the lenses, and finally the mesh. I have had people in traffic actually comment on them. No one has ever seen a side mounted brake lights that lets cars on your quarters see when you are braking. Everyone seems to really like it.
Thanks, I think it really helps people around me know I'm braking even if they are not directly behind me. I'm also now working on making my side markers, making sure they are bright and easily visible and always on with the driving lights and signals. Just trying to make the car safer to drive at night.
