Not sure if you tried to call any of these in your area to see if they maybe know of a place.
You can't beat a real steam cleaning machine for removing grease and gunk. When you're done the car looks like new again. You might try calling some of the large truck places. They will have steam cleaners. I bet if you go in there with your dirty clothes on and talk to the mgr they'd do it for you for a few bucks.

You know you have something here....
The OP is close to teh I95 and I bet they have a truck stop or 2 and they may have something to use,,, Jsut another idea...
I have a little mini floor jack, i put it an a rain suit in the passenger floor an off to the car wash i go.
This is the correct way because the car wash has an oil separator and the drains around your house does not if we all did this in our driveways well we drink the water we flush nufff said put on your rain suit and go to the car wash I take my ramps and set them up and drive right up on them right in front of the owner hes the one that told me about the holding tank for oils and some tire cleaning stuff he has. Sounds like you guys have all done it but I'm a little shy of even using my pressure washer with good soap on it. Fortunately, mine is pretty clean and grease free but I have used degreaser on the engine underneath when it was cold. I've cleaned engines from above before with pressure washers and had some problems if the manufacturer hadn't designed every component to stand that kind of pressure so I don't do it. If it were extreme, maybe....but I'm kinda with Alan...go easy on the pressure pushing water and steam into these things.

You and Alan are definitely right about not going too high pressure. The guys I found fully understand that and showed me a few vettes and other classics that they did before and after. Mine isn't very greasy at all, I just want to start out with it real nice and keep it that way.
