Default my LED tail lights

FIRST: Im still working on my car so forgive the mess in the garage :P

ok here comes the good part:
theyre basically round trailer LED lights, they fit perfectly and snugly into the recessed area where the old lights go. i had to cut out a bit so that the back of the light could go easily without being in the way, then i put the grommet in and then pushed the light into the grommet. i will screw in the grommet later on, i was just trying to see how the fit is and its a 97% perfect fit. (97% because theres barely any play , it fits snuggly but has about 1-2 millimeters of room on 1 or 2 of the lights[between the grommet and the fiberglass])

putting it in:

how it looks off:

normal

stopped (had to do stopped from an angle because 1. too bright when stopped and 2. i had to step on the brake and noone was around to take the pic so this pic is off the hood of my car

up close:

finally fixed my turn signals (the turn signal is blinking to the left)

Nice job and nice fit.

I guess if someone can't see those taillights, they shouldn't be driving at all because they must be blind.
I assume you will have to make some provision for back up lights in order to pass state inspections.

i doubt it. theyre SAE approved as well as the car being lower than pretty much any other cars out on the road at stock height

but if worse comes to pass, ill throw some 20% or even some 5% tint on them and problem solved

Install looks very good. Have you tried the signals and hazards to make sure all works good and blinks proper?

Not all states require them...unless they are just very lax about it here. None of my Vettes have ever had them...and I've never even had it mentioned that I need them and passed every time.

Some of these trim rings would dress them up a bit.
