I was just curious if anyone knows what is going on with Vanacor? I know of a few people that have not been able to get in touch with them for the last few months. I have heard something but I don't want to spread any rumors. So can someone FOR SURE confirm their status?

thanks

I hope they have not had a serious problem. I got my L88 hood from them 6 months ago- very nice people to deal with.

Somebody in a post a couple weeks ago I think said they had a fire.
I googled around for some news but couldn't find anything.
Hope it wasn't too bad and nobody got hurt.

My business takes me down in Louisiana and I have passed by vanacors shop about two months ago and saw a forsale sign on the carport and havent been by there sense. I never heard of anything about a fire or when I drove past the building it looked ok as in not burnt to a crisp.
I should have stoped in when I had a chance.

I have also heard about a recent fire. I spent some time on the internet searching but I couldn't come up with anything. It would look very suspicious to have a fire right after a huge clearance sale and having the business up for sale for awhile.....

Yes, the fire rumor is true. Don't know how much damage but can see black smoke residue on outside sheetmetal.

Website is still up. Call the number on there if you want to know their status. I hate to see any vendor for these cars go out of business. It keeps the other ones competitive on price and product. If you order something or contact them let us know. I would call them, but I don't need anything at this time.

It would be really nice if Diane would update everyone to the status of her company.

I called them Monday, they have been bought by another company, and from the sounds of it they are just selling of the remaining inventory. A lot of the moulds where damaged during the fire, so dont expect any new stock in the near future, if at all.

I just got off the phone with them and Nick is Correct they have been bought out by another company. All of the molds post 1968 were destroyed in the fire. But they did inform me they will make more molds and should have them up and ready to go in 5 or 6 months. But they do have parts for 1967 and Older. And they also informed me that this number 1-800-225-6508 will stay working. On a side note they have moved everything to Biloxi,Mississippi.

Default Vanacors Corvette Parts

Vanacor's Corvette Parts is coming back.

Michael and Jackie Vanacor the son and Daughter-in-law of the late Bryan Vanacor, is now the owner of Vanacor's Corvette Parts. We will be fully up and operational within a few months. If interested in ordering from us please call 985/210-3762(Michael), 504/710-8288 (Jackie ) or email us at j_vanacor@yahoo.com.

Vanacor's Corvette Parts is not affiliated with ANYONE in Mississippi, we are only located in Des Allemands, LA. The number 1-800-225-6508 is not Vanacor's and they do not have any of our molds or parts.

We did experience a fire, it was a minor set back. But we are the true "Vanacor's Corvette Parts" and we are coming back.

May Bryan Vanacor's Dream stay alive.
