If he did the work himself then.... credit to his skills.

If he paid someone else to create that... that thing... then I have no respect for anything he's done to that car.

They should pay you to take it. It should come with a eye hole paper bag on the drives seat.

As the C5's get cheaper the ricer / civic crowd will begin to buy them and this is what you can expect...

If we all keep prices high enough, this could be avoided..... (wishful I know)

Good luck manipulating artificial prices on any generation Corvette.

And... the prices (and the ricer crowd) have nothing to do with it. Since I've been involved with Corvettes since the 70's, there's always been the gold-chain crowd with the most horrendous taste on the planet completely destroying the looks of certain Corvettes. Body "mods", awful custom paint, horrific velour interiors... you name it. Actually, I've found it's worse on newer Corvettes because these people are so h3ll-bent on spending money on their cars that they go nuts trying to "do things" to them.

Hence "Pimp my ride" and that other comedy show "Unique Whips", proof positive that $$$$ doesnt always equal good taste, Peace,,,Moosie

Vettebuyer... You have some good points....

I understand the 70's had some horrendous tastes... I seen that first hand

but that is nothing compared to the ricer crowd, and the Kmart speed shop isle. in the 1970's they were far and few cars modded to this degree.

Most places didn't have an instant rice isle, so you had to have some time / money and skill to make your Vette look horrendous in 1970's

Now, any walmart / kmart / autoshop will stock fake carbon fiber / fart cans mufflers and big wings / not to mention TV sets in the headrests..

and as C5's get cheaper, you will see more fall victim to this crime...

Many of the younger crowd do not care for the C4, so they never embraced it, but the C5 they seem to like...

liberate tutemae ex inferis do not sell low!

You should see it in real life, he shows up at all local Sacramento Corvette functions. He was at the Christmas toy run, playing the music for the event, the sound system is really good, but the rest is kind of funky
