So come spring I need to replace my tires. I was originally looking at Road Huggers, which is on the car right now. However, after looking over Discount Tire's website, I found I can buy the rims I want with tires for a mere 40 bucks more! This is the thing though, the rim set comes with Hankook tires. I don't know a thing about tires or these brands, so I was hoping for a little advice. I have been going to Discount since I was 16 and they have never done me wrong, so I am not looking to go to someone else. The Road Huggers cost less than the Hankook if bought per tire but the Road Huggers received a higher customer rating. I hope these links work.
I just put Eagles on mine, 255's I think they are about the best tire available in that size. The Hankook tire is a decent tire, but that hugger looked like a better price. they hankook was up close to Eagle territory. I have the 225's for $117, but as much as I hate to say it, you might try tire rack, they buy a whole lot more of them at a time than I do. if 255's will fit your car/wheels, you should think about that. You cant see it in this pic too good but the wider tread looks good I think on these cars. mine will look better when the 454 is in and drops that front end down.
