Default rust on rally wheels?
Scrap 'em or is there an economical fix? 1974 model.

Sandblast if you want them near perfect, if not wire brush them using a hand drill and wire wheel.

The hardest part is to get right into the seam where the rim is joined. I sealed it to give a smooth finish and prevent rust from starting again.

I got mine all sandblasted at a cemetary monument company, of all places, for $60.00 and had a friend of mine at a body shop primer/paint them for another $60.00. They look too good now to hammer my old beat up trim rings on now. So I'm replacing them now to.
