Fantastic! I am going for the same color combination as your '70. Silver/Red. My car is originally a White car with red interior, but I think the Silver really makes the car look "fast". Right now the car has saddle interior.

I will finish reassembing/covering my passenger seat this weekend and the carpet and sound deadener are in the mail as I type.

I will be watching you progress for inspiration.

This is kicking my BUTT working all the time and stripping this paint off in what spare time I have, wow!

But it will be worth it, I hope to have what repairs I need done and be ready for primer by the end of June.

Well, I am off to hopefully strip the rear left fender and rear today, and that should about do it for paint removal, then I can start the repairs

Well I got the stripping down, with a couple of touch up areas to do, but am I glad thats done! As you can see there are some areas to be repaired. Here are a few pics.

The wheel is stock, it just has a cover over it. Starting tomorrow I will start on the repairs, hopefully by the end of the month, hope to have it primered.
