TH700 in a C6?

TH700 in a C6?
I'm new to Vettes but just got a nice 72. I've gone through it with a 383 crate motor, be cool radiator w/dual fans, all new suspension, steering, plus, plus, plus. Is it possible/feasable to attempt to install a 4 speed auto like the TH700?

they have TH700R and 200R4s that can handle the additional stresses of your 383. They also have the crossmembers and TV cables to hook it up to your carb. Very highly rated by forum members.
