"1969 Corvette, Has Special Factory "M" Code Motor, GM built a certain number of "M" Code Motors each year for experimentation, They tried different Cams, Heads, etc. for future Production Models, If they were successful, a few of them would end up in Production Cars. This is the only 1969 Corvette to get an "M" Code Motor in it, making it "1 of 1". The Motor was the predecessor to the 1970 LT1 Motor. There is Documentation to verify it."

My brother in law has a 69 with an M code block casting date. His car is an early 69, Oct. 68. The block casting number is 3932386 and in place of the casting date it has M27. Read the article as mentioned in the other post,it's very informative about these experimental blocks. IS THERE ANYONE ELSE OUT THERE WITH THIS M CODE INSTEAD OF THE CASTING DATE?
