Default question for drivers side mirrorr
I bought a new drivers side mirror for my 74. Where the ball is that swivels. There is a washer type round foam gasket over this area. Is this stock or is it just for packing when shipping?

I would guess, just shipping.
Stock there is not foam on the mirror.

I've never seen a mirror for early C3 with anything between the ball and the mirror head....

Hope this does not break any rules but they are not for sale but free. I have a Feb. 1975 drivers side and a July 1977 passenger side in good shape if anyone can use them. Ed
