If your looking to remove the whole assembly it's quite detailed. I've done it many times but my suggestion is that you get the factory assembly manual which will show the position of all bolts and etc. These manuals are available from all good Vette part houses. Trying to explain it is tough. A factory service manual will give a step by step. If your pain is good put painters masking tape on the edges of the headlight door and opening. Good luck
