Paint selection ?
While I do know that I want to paint my '75 with a red exterior color, I am having problem selecting the type of red. The body shop sent me over this link below to select, but I am still worried about what the outcome might be. If anyone has used this site before, please let me know which red fits better on a vette. Thanks in advance.

This link is great for identifying the original colors.
Example : you have a 72 vette which has been repainted and you don't know what the original blue was.

- select chevrolet
- select year (1972)
color pages are displayed for Chevrolet 1972
Click on page to enlarge, go to bottom of the page and it will specify Corvette; by color and code.
Sorry. If looking at this link to arbitrarily pick a red color for your preference is an endless task. This site will list literally hundreds of red colors! The advantage of this site is if you know specifics you can narrow down your search. Example : I saw a 1998 Ford Taurus and don't know the color; you can search "Ford,1998" and look on those pages.

A lot of guys with red cars like Torch Red which was a later Corvette color.
The stock 75 Mille Miglia Red looks nice, you don't like it?

I'm going with 2009 Corvette Victory Red on my 73 Convertible. Johnny "Little Jake" Crumby is doing the work in Nashville. It's amazing how many shades of red were developed for Corvettes. I didn't want a metalic since it would not look close to correct on a 73.
