Hello to everyone,
I have a 1970 that I want to do some freshening up with and I wondered if there was a manual out there like a fix up your corvette for idiots. I have the chevy manual the guys in the factory used, this is great if you know what your looking at. I need something with pictures and instructions like making a cake. Does this exist?
I want to restore my interior but I don't want to break stuff while taking it apart due to ignorance.
There are several long running restoration threads here on the forum. They go into great detail restoring the interior. Do a search.
As you read through them print out the pages for later reference.
Also get the 70 AIM. It shows all the interior components.

There are Corvette restoration how-to books. Some are better than others. The aftermarket providers carry them and you can Google up other vendors. My advice is to purchase two or three, read through them, and see how others have done it. You can pick up tips and techniques.
You will find the assembly instruction manual (AIM) and the GM Chassis and Service Manual (shop manual) for your year to be excelletn references.
