I definitely like the idea of eliminating the stock latch system on my 1971, which if out of sync, can cause a major PITA, if you are unfamiliar with how to get around the problem. I like the billet aluminum set, looks well constructed. Please follow-up with the install and photos, as this is definitely a modification I would consider. Just not sure it can be accomplished on a C-3.

which is exactly why I want to replace mine...PITA!! I have to wait to sell my chrome hood latch set up before I buy one of the new one's to install.
