I have a friend who just got a 75 vert....he needs a FSM for it....I looked at Helms and did not see one specific to that year....is there one available....or is there another year that is used?
Thanks
JC
I have an 85 and I was able to buy the FSM(Factory Service Manual) for it...It is what the Service Techs at the Dealerships used to repair and diagnose problems.I notice that they are available for the newer Corvettes but the older models get Assembly manuals and other supplements
I have them for All of my Bikes and my Jeep...they are Priceless for any DIYer like myself...
I googled for like 10 minutes and came up with Finite State Machine. Then thought, "woa, where the hell is there a finite state machine in my car... and what is it???"

They are available I have one for my 73, It includes more than just the Vette
Search on e-bay for the 75 you will have to get the 74 and a supplement for the 75 I have about 40 bucks tied up in the two well worth the money they cover Camaro Nova and Corvette, and maybe another model
The correct title for that manual is the "Chevrolet Chassis Service Manual"; and you do need that and the A.I.M. (Assembly Instruction Manual used on the final assembly line).
You can buy both the AIM and Service Manual (which includes the overhaul manual and Fisher body manual) on CD. I have both paper and CD versions.
The nice thing about the CD is that you can search on key words, blow up illustrations and print out select pages to take to the garage and get all greasy and torn instead of your book. Magnifying those illustrations to something you can actually read is nice too.
