Sorry to hear about you bad day. Does not matter if their was damages or not he still shouldn't have hit your car.

It never fails that when I drive my car and I park it in a parking lot where no other cars park, when I come out of the store there will always be and old piece of juck parked right next to me so close that I can not open the door all the way, and there will be 20 or 30 parking spot around that are empty so you know they park next to you just to make you mad!

Hey Brother, It's hard not to get mad,(as I need to practice what I'm saying,) when some one bumps your baby, but just call the cops, That's what your paying them for, but make them pay, they would you, and they will be more careful on the next round, when it's my car. Thanks for taking up for me though, doctorgene

Man, why didn't you get this schlub's insurance information? I don't get it. If you went off at the guy then it must have been enough to merit some insurance data. If not, why make a scene? BTW, touching either of my old cars (69 Vette, 69 Mustang) with your truck's bumper would make me demand proof of insurance and contact information and would also set me off. What kind of jerk would do that to anyone else's car and not be responsible? Did he deny hitting your car? What was the old lady's beef? Were you parked illegally? Something is missing in your story. BTW, your story is harder to understand because you don't use any punctuation. It's hard to tell when one thought ends and a new one begins without the convenience of periods and capitals.

Lon, sorry the ahole ruined a pretty day to be out in a vette.

Others, I have to wonder why you want his insurance carrier to pay when Lon said no damage. His insurance carrier didn't act irresponsibly, the driver did. He also left the scene of an accident, which is a crime everywhere.

A jerk hit me on a major road, I was stopped in traffic. When I got out he took to the shoulder & disappeared. I noted the license, called the police, filed a report and let them handle it.

No insurance ($500 automatic), leaving the scene of an accident (don't remember what that cost him), and a lot of court time is what the idiot paid.

Don't get mad, get even.

David

Wow, that sucks but I would have made a report and got insurance claim going. I also can understand being pissed and not doing things I would do in a calm mind

All I'll say is this. The Army taught me alot as far as discipline goes, but I also know that the fine for assault is $75 in Louisiana. That guy would've been bleeding. Big time!

I can fix the car with little-to-no money. It would be worth it to me to drive my point across.

Yes, I'm a Neanderthal muscle head dummy that perpetuates violence. That's just what you get when you screw with one of my hotrods. Consider yourself warned.

I assure you the only thing missing from my story was the punctuation .Sorry I was brought back to near Madness writing it.
I did not really go into what A podunk junction little town It was in because there are Idiots EVERY where, but lets just say sweat pants are the clothing of choice in Chillicothe Ohio.
One thing I really did not say was thanks to Toledo pro Glass for making such good bumpers. The car took A pretty good hit and it took it with no damage.
I might have to touch it up with one little touch of black majic marker.

I'd say you are lucky there was no serious damage...
