Interior - cost to re-do
What's the average cost to recover my '74's seats and new carpet installed?
Left driver's seat might need to be rebuilt, cushion, seat back etc..
Thanks yall,
Kevin

How about....
Seat covers $300 per pair, $200 each to install, repair seat?
Carpet $200 to $250, $400 to install.
Regards,
Alan
PS: Might be a little less, might be a LOT more.

You can get a decent price if you get it all together in a kit, seat covers, carpet, door panels.. do the door panels and carpet yourself and take the seats to a good local upholstery shop if you dont want to try them yourself. I think I am going to give them a try, I found some good instructions on here.

I have a 74 I recently purchased. I am thinking of trying to have the interior carpet and panels re-dyed as there aren't any tears but don't know if this will be cost effective. I wish "resto" parts were as inexpensive as engine parts.

To do the seats properly will be ~$1,200. I include the pass-through shoulder belts and associated hardware/trim pieces. All attachment screws, bottom frame reinforcement plates, trim parts, adjustment bumpers, seat hold-down bolts, etc.
