I know they made convertibles until 1975. My question is are all non convertible C-3's T-tops ? Are there any solid roof C-3 corvettes made like in the 1960's ?
Yes as far as I know all none convertible C3s are T-top. Unless you have the optional hard top for a convertible, but it's still considered a convertible car.

That was due to the redesigning for the 84 corvette and the early release of the 84 in 83. The 1984 corvette was released in 1983. The car met the new safety standards for 1984 so that is why it was released as an 84. Also, there is one 1983 in existance.
There were no 82 convertibles. There was a company that did modify an 82 into a vert though.
actually there was a company (i'm sure more than one actually throughout the US) in ft lauderdale florida that converted all C3 non convertibles into convertibles once the factory stopped making them. i have a couple of friends who were members of the largest corvette club in the area at the time, and they all had C3 conversion convertibles as did many of the other members they said.
Trivia.... Actually, the C4 design was supposed to be released as a 1983 model in fall of '82. But, some things took longer than intended to get it to production; so GM just built 82's into the '83 model year until the C4 was ready in July, 1983. It was so late, GM just decided to call it a 1984 model year offering. Then, they didn't change it until the 1985 model year was released [October, '84].

According to some GM sites, the c4 had twenty-something 83's that had a ton of flaws and they scrapped the 83 project until 84. Just what I read. May be other stories.
