Got the bezels from a fellow forum member in Canada Saturday and stripped, primed and repainted. Small project but sometimes it's the little things that make your day and another issue to check off the list. Here's a few pics of how I received them to refinished and installed. Even with primer and 4 coats of paint, they still chip very easily and needed to do some small touch ups. Still, looks 100 times better now.

Mine could also use a good painting. The problem I have is they are saddle. Where do you get paint to do them? Places sell interior paint, but can you use that on the metal pieces or is it just for flexible interior pieces.

In the new Corvette Central catalog on p.133 they sell interior color paint, 15.95 for a 16 oz. aerosol can. I would guess other vendors have similar paints or "dye"as well. You should call to confirm it will work for your need.

As you probably already know, many vendors interchange what they call interior 'paint' with interior 'dye'. When I have asked vendors what they are really selling, they have told me that it is really dye (for the plastics and vinyl), and that it's okay to use it on metals, but it doesn't stick like paint does, and therefore not very durable.
That said, I am planning in taking a sample of my saddle interior to a auto paint supply store and have them match the color for a couple of rattle cans of metal paint.
Hi GD70,
It's strange but I have some of the same 'wire hooks' in my backyard as you have hanging off your post. Some of them even have the same 'clearance curve' bent into them.
