Hooker sidepipes only come in one length. Corvette length.
Mine are Jet Hot coated and you can burn yourself on the primaries but they cool enough to touch within 5 minutes. My heatshields are from www.cobrastuff.com and are the traditional "cheesegrate style". For mufflers, I have the STS baffles. Nice and loud when on it, can hear the stereo when cruising.
I spent the little extra on the stainless steel Hooker headers and pipes.

I went stainless too. I was surprised that they did not cost much more than chrome and don't have to worry about rust as much if at all. I'm using STS baffles which have a center cap that can be drilled out or replaced to "adjust" sound and flow. I also bought steelshields to prevent the burns. Clearance is better than the long tube headers and under car exhaust that I had. He is a pic and a video:
