Door Glass outer seal
I am replacing the door glass outer seal and the darn things will not snap into the holes in the door, does anyone have any suggestions. These things are going to lead me to drinking.

i had the same problem on my 79, some of the snaps wouldnt line up with the holes in the door and were very difficult to snap in, i finally had to slightly open up the holes in the door with a dremel tool w/ small metal grinder, and put some light grease on the snaps and they finally went in, but still with some difficulty. good luck.

Join the club went to do my pass side 71 and thought it would be a
snap WRONG the last one would not go in. I pinched it and got it to snap but there is a little space. I'll do the driver side next year.

Yep, tried to go cheap and bought the $40.00 ones. Mangled those beyond recognition and then bought a set for $80.00 figuring these would snap right in. hah! I ended up having to remove most of the clips and use screws to hold them on. both sets were too long and the bend wasn't quite right. In the end they came out ok.
