Help decipher trim code?

My '69 t-top has a trim code of 400 on the insider driverside door post. I found other trim number definitions but can't find one for "400." Any ideas?

Hi ST,
400 is Black Vinyl in 70, 71, and 72. So the answer is ????

What color is your interior? 400 trim code is Black for 70-74,for 69 black is ZQ4 for vinyl and 402 for leather.

which means IMO.......your trim tag has been changed, or your car has received a front clip from a later car.

What month was it built? Compare the build code in the top right corner of the trim tag to the VIN of the car to determine if the trim tag is actually wrong. Compare paint too, obviously.
