i used the 72 today and noticed a slight fuel smell, i decided that the plug in front of the original carb is the culpret,is there a way to fix it or do i have to ship to a rebuilder and hope , i remember back in the day the little plugs used to leak or fall out ,its a quadrajet, and the plug is in the front at the fuel bowl about 1/2 " in size
no,on the opposite side there is a little plug ,it looks similar to a freezeout plug ,it appears to be weeping fuel ,i was wonderin how to reseal it or ship to the rebuilder and hope he can fix it
Yes Sir; Isn't that the Air adjustment on the Q. Jet?? I think that there is an O-ring on that, look at a break down of carb. I wouldn't put epoxy in it just yet, you will ruin any hope of rebuild if you do. Come on one of you carb guys, help this guy out. Doctorgene
