This is kind of embarrassing to ask, but I can't seem to find any clutch reservoir on my 4 speed 74 stingray, is there any reservoir? This is my first Corvette and I looked in the manual and found nothing.
I'm going to change all the fluids and wanted to make sure that there wasn't a reservoir. I've learned so much in the past three days since I've joined this forum. Thank you

There's transmission oil. You may want to change that.
Rear differential is another that you need the posi oil and additive so no clutch pack clunking.
lmao.. first time you have heard of car with NO clutch fluid.. and I can remember the first time I heard of a car that HAD clutch fluid.. god I feel old!
There are no dumb questions. Well, only if you have asked it before. Yeah I remember the first time I saw a clutch resevoir, and thought "what's wrong with the way we've been doing it?"
I'm only twenty and this is the first time I heard of a car with no clutch fluid. And I'm going to change tranny, engine, gear box, differential, and definitely brake fluid because it's dry.
Anybody know how many quarts of oil the tranny will take? I'm planning on going with royal purple and need to know because I looked at a Haynes manual that came with the car and it's really not so helpful.
Also, to change the differential oil will I have to take the cover off and drain it, or is there a drain plug and a fill plug? I haven't gotten under the car.

Dumping Brake Fluid in an empty Master Cylinder reservoir may not solve your problems. What I'm trying to get at is you may have bigger issues then you think. Usually an empty brake master cylinder reservoir indicates you have a Brake Fluid leak somewhere and now probably have "Air" in the lines as well. You may need a break job and bleed each caliber on the wheels of air. Two each on the back brakes and one each on the front.
I once asked an old mechanic what I did with the left over nuts and bolts I had after working on my car. He smiled and told me, "Put 'em down the oil fill. They'll find their way home..."
I've been a member here on the forum for over 2 years. When I first got my 69, I had so many questions/problems/issues that I'd have gone crazy if this fine group had not helped me through it. I've learned so much since then, but am far from an expert. Just as I've been playing drums for 25+ years. I am in 3 different bands, but I still consider myself a student of the instrument. So consider yourself a student of the Corvette, eternally. I think we all are in here.
No question is too embarrassing!
Yeah, I'm going to get the rotors turned and bleed the whole braking system and check for leaks before I drive it, but I really want to thank all of you guys for helping me out with my first Corvette.
