They should fit. Is either the nose or the grills (or both I suppose) from another year?

Both the repro grills and originals fit perfectly in an original nose. Somethings wrong.

no everything is original 73 but the grilles are about 2 inches bigger than the opening, I must be doing something wrong somewhere.

Yes, install the outer edge first and the center edge should slide into place.

Just a thought. You might have 75+ grills. Will not interchange.

I ordered 73 grilles from Corvette America and they are WAAAAAY to big, the invoice and package all say 73 and this should be as easy as anything but these things won`t go anyway I try them, they are shaped correctly and the parking lights fit in them just fine but if I hold the curved edge against the curved opening the straight end is well over 2 inches past the opening in the center

I have a pair of original NOS 73 grills. Get me the length & height measurments and I will tell you if you have the correct grills.

These grilles are 17 inches across the top and 6 inches down the straight side Thanks John I really appreciate it, they look to be ok on the height but the length seems to be to long

I tried to post a pic but photobucket seems to be having issues tonight. Remember that theykind of slope forward from the bottom to the top, Make sure you are putting them in the correct side and orientation.

I have them on the right sides and slope but my bumper opening is measuring 14 1/4 by 6 and I don`t think the bumper has ever been changed

Well I had a revelation this afternoon, came home got a cold one sat down and looked at the car and just thought, got the book out and EUREKA it hit me I have a 75 nose on my 73 car. I could beat some BUBBA`S A==.

A BIG thanks to Wilcox. I called them this afternoon and they said no problem send the old stuff back and new stuff is on the way.

I knew I was trying to stuff a wet noodle up a wildcats behind;
