Default Big Block Regrets

Any BB owners willing to admit buying a BB, and then having regrets doing it?

NO, I'm not willing to say any such thing, as I've never had a single, solitary regret from either owning one or from long ago big blocking my '78, for which I'm currently building up another 427 BB.

Are you kidding?! What kind of regrets could one have? I've had 3 '70 big blocks, 3 '71 big blocks, 2 '72 big blocks. No regrets!!!!!!!!!!!

I have so many regrets for buying one L88 that I decided I needed another to make a even pair to fill up the left over spare space available by not using any rear seats in my 18 foot Hallet Canoe...I also hated the fact they totaled 1200 hp...

If you find anyone with regrets, get a flashlight and shine it in their ear. I suspect that you'll see light on the other side.

Isn't that boat a little 'fast' for trying to catch fish 'on the fly'? {looks like fun...at least for the first 20 seconds}

ZERO regrets!

My 77 came with a transplanted/modified 454 BB and even at 8-10 mpg, I wouldn't downgrade this setup for nothing! Besides, my 89 C4 makes a great daily driver!

Not at all!

I was looking for a small block, auto with AC and I ended up with a BB, 4speed, no air!

No regrets at all, the torque makes them a great cruiser!

Holy Cow! 1200 hp on what amounts to a surf board - does that thing float or just fly over the water!

Yes, that I waited until I was 51 to buy one.

Yes, I regret not having a BB convertible to go with my coupe.

I have become so jaded that I have a hard time buying perfectly good cars with small blocks. It used to be that I only had to agonize over the car having an automatic transmission. Now it has to have a 4 speed and a big block.
