Default wiper arms

i have a 81 that im trying to replace wiper blades on. .. cant quite figure out how to get the old arm off.... anyone got a tip for me.. trying to get it inspected and back on the road.. i replaced the harmonic balancer, master cylinder and water pump but cant get the wiper blades off.. thats sad...

Are we talking about the arm or the blade... you mention both?

thanks.. i got them off.. had to cut the star washer that held the blades on to replace them.. since they dont sell just refills anymore..next project is working on the brakes... haveing a hard time getting them to bleed... gonna try these new bleeder valves with check valves built in...

Default Reverse your thinking

Blead mine about 5 times then it got the book out (Chilton's I Believe) & it was backwards to my way of always bleeding brakes.
Start with the drivers side Front then the passenger side front then the passenger side rear then the driver side rear. It worked.
