Never been, I know its not the big corvette show. Will there be an corvette vendors there? What can i expect? I d be looking for some floor pans , and body bushings, ect . Think ill have any luck before I order that stuff? TIA
Huge swap meet. Don't expect a whole lot of vendors with new parts. There are a lot of used parts and cars. Of course the variety covers all makes and models so you might find yourself sorting through stuff. The vendors are not set up by make so they are scattered amongs the field. Plan to spend a lot of time walking.
There are a number of vendors of new parts, but they tend to set up a display to advertise what they have. They will take orders there. I believe that Corvette America (I hope I have the right vendor) was there last time with a banner advertising 10% off all orders from the show. That can be worthwhile if you have a large enough order. There is always shipping to think about. Go and enjoy the visit even if just for the experience. There is always something to see at Carlisle.

Todd M described it pretty well. If you haven't been before, it's worth the trip. It's quite a spectacle.
Some of the big-name vendors do make it, Keens being one. Doc Rebuild used to go, but the last couple of Springs that I attended, he had rented his space out to others.
The Swap Meet at Spring dwarfs the swap meet at Corvettes in August, and it will take more than one day to thoroughly explore everything. And the crowd is much larger.
Here's a pic I took at Spring one year. I was taking a shot of the Vette, but a lot of the vendor's stuff showed up as well and it is typical of what you'll see there......
I would say only about 5% (maybe less) of the vendors are Corvette related. It's great fun to go to look at the other cars and parts but Corvettes and Corvette parts are limited.
Regards,
Alan

I read on CF they got rid of the Beannie Baby & fluff vendors as much as possible. Now they check your spots to see what you're selling.
The e-mail I rec'd from Carlisle Events says all 8,100 spaces offered for the car corral and swap meet are sold out. And the weather looks good. Should be fun.
btw: I posted a thread in honor of one of the two co-founders of Carlisle Events named Chip Miller. He died 5 years ago. His partner was Bill Miller (no relation). Chip's son, Lance, has become familiar to Carlisle's younger crowd. Bill and Lance are top guys to meet. You might want to read and ad a comment or two at the Chip Miller thread. A real corvette guy if there ever was one. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=2308315

I drove right past the fairgrounds on the way from Pittsburgh to Easton this afternoon and it already looked fairly full of vendors getting set up all the way over the hill to the side of the turnpike. I may try and stop for a couple hours if I get headed home early enough on Thursday afternoon.
OP - best to bring good walking shoes and lotion. Weather should be good. Fri forecast 75 , Sat 87 PC, and Sun 87 . All 3 w/ 0% precip. Don't have Thur report.
They got good food on premises and lots to drink. Take notes on spaces so you can find it again if you compare shop. The place is huge.
