Default Electric Fan Install

I've seen a couple of posts on this forum about putting Ford Taurus fans in a C3 because they fit well. I did it & they do. Now I need more info on wiring. Does anyone know how I can find the old posts ? I've searched for hours now. Thanks to anyone who knows....

Here is how I will be wiring mine when the time comes. This is one of the relays I'll use.

Want a relay what won't fail?? get a high speed HVAC blower relay that mounts on the evap box, and use a couple of them....

damn nearly grenade proof....

and about 8-9 bux each.....not typically on hooks, but so let them look it up...

Thanks alot guys.....Really nice diagrams. I've yet to find a sender that acts as a switch to turn on at ANY temp. Does someone have a part # ? I've been to every parts house I could find. Does it have to be a sender for a gauge, idiot lite or what. For now I just bought a kit with the thru the radiator probe. I'm still building the car so I can't drive it yet, but in my shop it seems to work fine. I put in a spdt switch so I can run the Taurus fan at either speed if I have to. I've also got the relays from the Taurus I intened to use but could'nt find the sender I needed. I also don't understand why you would need 8 gauge wire when the factory wire is 12 or possibly 10 on the fan terminals.

Ask to see the sending unit book at a Napa, CarQuest, O'Rieleys-that kind of store. Start with a secondary fan switch for an '89 IROC, and look at other similar nearby switches to find what you need. Be careful as some close the switch at the temp you want while some open.
