Default Question - Front Spring Tags

While I'm detailing my engine bay (engine in), I thought I'd also do the front suspension parts that are more easily accessible. Should I try to remove the light blue tags on my front springs, or should I leave them intact and work around them?

How would I get them off without damaging them?

Hi Joe,
I'm not sure what tag you're seeing? I believe 70's had a green tag with black numerals and lettering giving the part # and broadcast code.
What do you have?
Regards,
Alan

Alan ... sorry, it's just me having another 'senior moment'!

They are green as you said ... I just looked again, but I didn't get close enough to read the numbers. I did see an 'SH' in a large font near the end of the tag.

Hi 70Y,
I believe HS 3931823 is what you should be seeing, if it's the standard suspension.
RR is right about there being some pretty nice repros, but, save yours if you think they're 39 years old.
Regards,
Alan
