1976 front bumper

Anyone with experience on installing a new bumper cover on a 76. I looked at the AIM and it shows attachments all around the cover. I have removed about half the attachments and bloodied my hands and arms so I stopped to regroup. Thing is still on pretty tight. Yesterday was almost 100 degrees and today is the same so I wont get back to it for another day or 2. Any tips would be appreciated. Im dying to get this on...

To remove the old one you need to remove all those little rusted on nuts around the perimeter. It might be easier to just cut the old one off as a start.

I thought about that but wasn't sure. I figured I was gonna need new bolts and nuts because most of em snapped off. When it cools off later I'll go and work a little more on it. ( I see you work for Boeing also. I'm in Long beach on the C-17)
