I found out today that I might have the chance to go with a big block for my 76 Stingray. The guy is going to pull the 502 from his Chevy truck and sale it. I think that I'm going to do what I have to do to get it. He said that he was sure that the headers wouldn't fit, so I have to get new ones. If anyone else running this engine, and if so, where would I start hunting down the headers for it?

502 is a 9.8 deck BB. Unless GM did something funky with the exhaust ports, Throw a set of Jet-Hot coated Hookers on it and drive it like a rental car.

I was looking for a small block Corvette when I found my '69. I wasn't all that thrilled about it having a bigblock in it, but the car was in great shape, so I bought it. It took me a while to get used to the torque and throttle response, but now I just keep craving more.
