Is it hard to get a Bloomington Gold Certification? How do you need to restore your car? Does it have to be exact to factory specifications to get the certification or can there be a few deviations such as head unit and valve covers? Does paint and interior color have to be exact to original? What do you have to score (%) to get the certification? Any thing else you can tell me?
Hi AMF,
If you're thinking about Bloomington Gold, perhaps you might want to consider NCRS TopFlight, too. You can check the NCRS Site for information.
Bloomington is just once a year (June), while the NCRS has various levels of Flight Judging, at various places in the U.S., Canada, England, The Netherlands, and Australia throughout the year. This all leads up to a National Convention, it's location moves throughout the country. This year it's in July and in San Jose, California. It's recently been in Boston, St. Louis, Windsor Ontario, Park City, Hershey, etc. This gives folks a chance to have their cars judged at a National Level with out having to travel across the country.
Just something for you to consider.
Regards,
Alan
PS: From your brief description in your profile it sounds like your car may do well in judging.
